4,107 weeks.

That’s what “google” says is the average life expectancy of your life.

That’s 1,499,055 days…

And 35,977,320 seconds.

I recently got a poster that shows 100 years of life broken down into weeks.

I have been alive for around 1,105 Weeks.

Every Tuesday I check off one more box.

Another week gone…

Then another one…

And then another one.

I’m realizing more and more how temporary life is…

And everyday we have a choice…

To live for the world or to live for the creator of the world.

To stand up for what’s right or stay silent.

To run towards Jesus or run away from him.

I will never be perfect (none of us will be)…

But no matter what, this serves as a daily reminder to keep trying.

And no matter how dark or chaotic the world gets…

It’s a reminder to keep fighting.

Keep fighting for love.

Keep fighting for relationships.

Keep fighting for family.

Keep fighting for truth.

Keep fighting for friendships.

Keep fighting for hope.

We don’t have all the time in the world, but we have all the time we need to make a difference.

So let’s continue to fight.

And when we become weak and fall to our knees…

Let’s lean on Jesus to give us the strength to get back up and swing again.

Because with each time we get back up…

The world becomes a brighter place.
